A good punishment for my son, getting into the gun cabinet without asking?

This rule is in place more for their protection then anything else. They know more and equipted to deal with firearms that most adults. We are a family of hunting, and I'm thinking of releasing its privalges hunting spring. After reading the many responses I found some info missing. My son is 15, which is trying 10. The guns are locked in a secret room and various booster are blocked. Handeling firearms for about 10 years and has been praised on the correction of adults on inproper dealing in the field and on the range.
